[...] What, did someone mention good Asian food in Madrid? Surely not? Oh yes, it’s true my friends, at last we have found somewhere to eat really fine Asian cuisine in the capital. We know that the Indian restaurants in Madrid aren’t up to much, and I’m still looking to find a decent place that serves Thai, but never mind: Sri Lankan food is the way forward!
It is true that we where in Anapurna at least 6 years ago. Then it was consider an expensive restaurant, while in those times eating in Madrid was still fairly cheap. I guess there is not such a big difference in price now a days.

I quite like Anapurna, it's not so much more expensive than several others in the city now and I've never left feeling ripped off- Lavapies is really hit and miss, if you find one thats good then stick to it because there are some that are really just not worth it. When do I get to recommend my favourite Chinese restaurant in Madrid?

I really want to try at some point the Lavapies Indian restaurants. In fact some of them are just below where Ben and I used to live.

I was once in Anapurna for a celebration and I agree with Raffe that the quality was not good enough for they price you are paying, also I remember that the portions were quite small and after paying good money I was still hungry when I left the restaurant?!?!
